Welcome on website of the First Polish Robotics Competition RoboTown 2009.
If you are interested in robotics and you are a student of a secondary school, then this competition is exactly for you!
Build and program a robot able to pass the given tracks. You can use any LEGO Mindstorms set. Show everyone, that your robot is the best and win attractive awards!
Competition will take place in Tychy, Poland in November 2009. Every team will need to build and program a robot by themselves.

We are looking for any kind of support for our competition,
so if you could help us in this case by yourself or by recommendation we would be very grateful.

We are happy to be announce that we are second team from Poland which will take part in Google LUNAR Mindstorms Challenge. Our blog will start very soon and there will be also proposal of our robot at robotown.pl/deltaforce.

As we announced, we are publishing the list of rewards to win for the first 3 places. We encourage to register for the competition, because, as you can see, there is much to win! Please visit the Rewards page for more details.

We decided to extend the registration time till 10th November 2009. We will also publish the list of rewards soon.

On the 29th September in the Radiio Express FM has been broadcasted an interview about our competition. We encourage to listen to it.

We are pleased to inform, that the first team to register from outside the Silesian voivodeship will be reward with a free hotel acommodation for four people in the luxury hotel FLORA, which is worth about 55£. For the other teams the hotel is offering a discount price!

We are pleased to inform, that the web portals ROBONET.PL and ROBOTYKA.COM. Portal ROBONET.PL is a great webiste about robotics, where you can find a well-equipped shop for people interested in robotics and there is also a chance to sign up for robotics classes. ROBOTYKA.COM is a great portal with lots of current news about amateur and professional robotics.

The competition will begin on 20th November 2009 in the 1st High School in Tychy city. You can view the tasks and rules in the Tasks and Rules section of the page.
